Forty receipts, one clean sheet
Point it at last month's folder. It reads the PDFs and exports, lines the amounts up against your budget, flags the ones that look off and writes a single file you can forward.
Abacus AI Desktop installs on Windows or Mac, opens the files you point it at — receipts, statements, call notes, questionnaires — and finishes the dull part step by step. You describe the task in one normal sentence. It shows you what it did.
Independent promotional page, not the vendor's site. If you subscribe through our link we may earn a commission; your price stays the same.
It's a desktop app. That's the whole point: it can reach the invoices folder and the downloads full of statements, because they're already on the same machine.
A chatbot hands you text. This opens files, reads them, compares them and builds the finished spreadsheet or summary — then lays out the steps it took.
It only sees folders you allow. Anything destructive — deleting, overwriting — waits for your explicit OK before it happens.
Not demos. The kind of small jobs that quietly eat an hour each.
Point it at last month's folder. It reads the PDFs and exports, lines the amounts up against your budget, flags the ones that look off and writes a single file you can forward.
The meeting listener transcribes, then pulls out decisions and who promised what. Later you ask it “what did we agree on the deadline?” instead of scrubbing through a recording.
Compliance forms, vendor questionnaires, proposals. The answers already sit in your documents. It searches them and drafts replies, and you approve the wording before anything goes out.
Same subscription, more inside: a coding agent with a command-line tool and a VS Code extension for developers, plus 100+ AI models for chat, images and video in the same app — one bill instead of several.
A page that lists only upsides is an ad pretending to be advice. Here are both columns.
Our advice: pick the one task you dread most each month and give it that. Within a day you'll know whether it saves you real time.
One installer for Windows or Mac. The app is part of the vendor's subscription, so you'll create an account with them.
The invoices folder, a project directory, a set of statements. That permission is the fence it works inside — nothing outside it.
It plans the steps, asks if something's unclear, and shows the result.
Then $10 per month, renewing automatically until you cancel.

Yes. The whole interface is describing a job in normal language — “take these three files and give me one table.” The developer tools (command line, editor extension) are optional and you can ignore them completely.
The desktop app is made for Windows and Mac; the command-line tool also runs on Linux. Check the system requirements on the vendor's download page — that's where our button leads — before you pay.
Not for the desktop agent described here. It's part of a paid subscription, currently $7 for the first month. The vendor may offer a trial or lower tier at times; we can't promise one, so check their page for what's live.
According to the vendor, your data is never used to train models, stays encrypted, and the service is SOC-2 Type-2 and HIPAA compliant. Locally, the agent only works inside folders you approve and asks before anything destructive.
Sensible habit: try it on a copy of a folder first.
In the app, open the account menu (top right) → Profile → Billing and Invoices, and cancel there. You keep access until the end of the paid month; it simply won't renew.
An independent publisher, not Abacus.AI. This is promotional content for a product we don't own. The buttons lead to the vendor's own page, where any purchase actually happens.
One task, one folder, one sentence. If it handles that, $10 a month is an easy call. If not, cancel before month two.
